Lecture Presentation Instructions

The duration of a presentation slot is 15 minutes. You will have 12 minutes for the presentation itself and 3 minutes for questions from the audience.

A LCD projector & computer (Windows 7, MS Powerpoint & Adobe Acrobat Reader) will be available in every session room for regular presentations.

Preparation of Visuals

  • Powerpoint slides will be collected and uploaded to the presentation laptop in advanced. Authors will receive an email with their personal upload link by September 18, 2026, to submit their slides. Through this link, authors will be able to upload their slides in pdf, ppt, pptx, or pptm format as well as select the presenter who will be presenting at IEEE SENSORS 2026.  In order to ensure your slides will be uploaded onto the presentation laptop, please submit your slides no later than October 5, 2026.
  • To avoid software compatibility problems (MS Powerpoint), speakers are advised to EMBED ALL FONTS in your Powerpoint file AND bring a backup PDF-version of your presentation.
  • Speakers should arrive in their session room 15 minutes BEFORE the start of your session to report to the session chair. A proctor will also be available in case you need technical assistance.
  • If you need to update your slides after the deadline (October 5), please bring the updated version on a USB stick with you to your session. You CANNOT use your own computer.

General Considerations

  • Limit the number of words per visual to no more than 20.
  • Leave space, at least the height of a capital letter, between lines of text.
  • All fonts, including that on graphs, should be 18 point or larger.
  • Graphs and charts should have bold lines and symbols that contrast sharply with the background.

Poster Presentation Instructions

IEEE SENSORS 2026 is utilizing digital poster screens. The required poster size is 22.5 in (W) × 40 in (H) (9:16 portrait aspect ratio).

Poster files will be collected and uploaded to the digital poster screens in advance. Authors will receive an email with their personal upload link by September 18, 2026, to submit their poster. Through this link, authors will be able to upload their poster in pdf format as well as select the presenter who will be presenting at IEEE SENSORS 2026.  In order to ensure your poster will be uploaded onto the digital screen, please submit the poster file no later than October 5, 2026. You do not need to print a physical copy of your poster.

Each poster screen onsite will be marked with a number (from 1 to 60) that directly correlates with each poster in the PDF program. At the time of your poster session, please find the screen marked with the corresponding number and make sure the correct poster file is being displayed. Please use your paper ID as your poster number.

It is not recommended to submit an updated version of your poster after the submission deadline. Only in exceptional cases we shall accept updates. The updates have to be submitted directly by email to the Conference Manager. You can not use your own USB or computer to upload the poster file. Please note if an updated poster file is received after the start of the conference on October 25, we can not guarantee that it will be displayed on the screen due to processing times.

We highly recommend that you use our poster template. However, in case you decide not to use it, you have to be careful to use the required poster size, to avoid compatibility issues with the screen.
